Sands of Anubis

About Sands of Anubis

Sands of Anubis takes the tile-match formula to ancient Egypt. Instead of removing pairs directly from the board, you tap a tile to move it down into a tray at the bottom of the screen. Whenever three identical tiles land in the tray, they vanish. The catch is that the tray only holds seven tiles, and if it fills up without a match the level restarts.

Because only uncovered tiles can be picked, every tap is a small decision: grab something you can complete right now, or open up the layer below to reach a tile you need later? With thousands of levels set among pyramids and temples, the difficulty ramps up steadily. Boosters help on tough boards – a Magnet pulls in tiles to finish a triple, Undo sends the last tile back, and Shuffle mixes the board. Daily quests, a lucky wheel and an hourly chest add small rewards between levels. It is a satisfying triple-match game for players who enjoy a bit of planning.

How to Play Sands of Anubis

  1. Tap an uncovered tile to send it to the tray.
  2. Collect three identical tiles in the tray to clear them.
  3. Clear every tile on the board to win the level.
  4. Avoid filling all seven tray slots – that restarts the level.

Sands of Anubis Tips & Tricks

  • Try to keep the tray at four tiles or fewer so you have room to react.
  • Before tapping, check whether the third copy of a tile is actually reachable.
  • Use Undo right after a mistake rather than letting the tray clog up.

Sands of Anubis FAQ

How many tiles fit in the tray?

Seven. If the tray fills without completing a set of three, the level starts over.

Which tiles can I pick?

Only tiles that are not covered by another tile.

What makes Sands of Anubis different from plain mahjong solitaire?

Its Egyptian theme gives the tiles and backgrounds a desert-temple look, which makes long sessions feel like an expedition rather than a plain tile layout.
